"We would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent After School University Training that you provided on June 25-27, 2009 at Rio Vista Elementary School in Cathedral City. The evaluations and comments that we heard from participants confirmed their enthusiasm and gratitude in being provided the opportunity to participate in such a high-quality, comprehensive three-day institute. Your trainers were fabulous and an added bonus was that they are practitioners and youth workers with real life stories, challenges and expertise to share. We heard that participants returned to their sites the following week, motivated and empowered to provide the best quality services to students. They shared some of the skills they learned at the After School University with colleagues and the excellent reputation of the After School University in Region 10 is spreading. Their certificates meant a lot to them and will be valued in our region. We know that the services you are providing will make a difference in students’ lives.
